About Max

I work where business pressure, technical systems, and operating reality meet.

My career has never fit neatly into a single specialty—and that is the point. I connect the layers that organizations often separate: strategy, product, commerce, customer data, governance, analytics, delivery, and now agentic AI.

From digital commerce operator to AI-ready transformation leader

I started building digital and eCommerce systems before “MarTech” was a common operating category. That meant learning the whole chain: product information, platforms, lifecycle marketing, marketplaces, analytics, integrations, and the commercial realities behind them.

Over time, the work moved deeper into customer-data architecture, consent, identity, measurement, and cross-functional governance. The recurring mandate stayed remarkably consistent: take an important initiative that is fragmented, ambiguous, or stuck—and turn it into a system teams can understand, run, and improve.

AI now raises the same fundamental question at a higher level. The interesting part is not merely generating output. It is designing context, tools, state, evaluation, permissions, evidence, and human checkpoints so an agent can participate in real work without eroding trust.

Working principles

What I optimize for.

01

Make the system visible

Map owners, decisions, data, evidence, and constraints before adding another platform or automation layer.

02

Ship the operating foundation

Use short delivery loops to move from ambiguity to a governed minimum viable system that teams can actually run.

03

Automate what can be governed

Introduce AI where context, permissions, evaluation, and human checkpoints are explicit enough to support trust.

Positioning

Senior enough to frame the system. Hands-on enough to understand how it fails.

I am most useful in senior Product, eCommerce, MarTech, customer-data, and AI-operations mandates where strategy has to survive contact with implementation.

Based in Mexico City, legally able to work in Mexico, and experienced in global remote collaboration through direct contract and partner-led engagement models.
